William W. Wendell diaries [manuscript], 1941-1950.

Two diaries of a soldier from Oregon who served on the U.S.S. Enterprise during World War II and later. The first diary dates from 1941-1944 and includes details of Wendell's tour of duty in the Pacific; the second diary dates from 1950 and includes description of life at the Treasure Island base in San Francisco and serivce in the Pacific.
